When Will the Payments Come In?

PayNow-NRIC (Fastest Option) — Arrives by 15 December 2025
If you have linked your NRIC to PayNow you will receive your payment first. The Ministry of Finance recommends that everyone complete their NRIC linking by 23 December 2025 to ensure there are no delays in processing.
GIRO (For Those Without PayNow) — Arrives by 16 December 2025
If you have an account with DBS or POSB or OCBC or UOB that is registered with the Government your payment will be sent through GIRO. You should verify that your bank information is current on the Govbenefits website before 29 November 2025.
GovCash — Arrives by 22 December 2025
If you do not have a valid bank account you can still receive your payment through GovCash. You can collect this at any OCBC ATM by presenting your NRIC & the GovCash QR code. All Singaporeans will receive SMS notifications from the official gov.sg Sender ID before & after their payment is processed. Be careful of fraudulent messages that claim to be from the government.
